Old broken bathroom fan recorded to use as below decks ambience for a documentary about sailing/motoring in australia's coral sea.

My bathroom fan is humming while operating. As you might hear, the fan is full of dust and dirt, so it does this "unround" noisy humming. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. This is the sound of the broken fan at the bathroom in my friends house. It sounds a lot like a cricket, but i can assure you it’s a machine- once again this was straight off my phone so sorry if the quality is pretty bad. I hope this can still be of use to you. You don’t need permission but i would like to know if anyone does use it, just for the sake of curiousity :).

Have you ever been inside a computer room, where a few computers are turned on?this sound clip is meant to be the kind of sound you'd hear in such a room. This sound was made using my own computer, but also my fridge and the fan in my bathroom. This sound is part of a college project, but can be used by anyone.

This is a sound i created by using three different things. I recorded my bathroom fan and altered the pitch, added a few cents and overlayed them at 50%, and added a band-pass filter. I also recorded batteries rolling across the bottom of a drawer, lowered the pitch a bit, and added a high pass filter. And then lastly i added some wind that i created by blowing into my hands. That i did not adjust at all. It sounds just like a thunderstorm.
